To crochet this amigurumi dog you’ll need:
- Medium (worsted) yarn with plush velour texture (120 m / 100 g)
- 4.0 mm crochet hook
- 10 mm safety eyes
- 12 mm safety nose
- Polyester fiberfill
- Black embroidery floss
- Scissors and sewing needle
In case you use similar suppliers, your finished amigurumi dog will be about 16 cm (6.3″) when sitting.

Free Crochet Pattern
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch
(..) = repeat the instructions in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches
Crochet 5 ch with brown yarn, turn and continue working around the foundation chain, beginning from the 2nd ch from hook.
Rnd 1: inc, sc in next 2 ch, 3 sc in last ch, turn, sc in next 3 ch 
Rnd 2: (inc) x 2 times, sc in next 2 st, (inc) x 3 times, sc in next 2 st, inc 
Finish with sl st. Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.
Crochet with beige yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring 
Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 5-6: sc in all 24 st 
Rnd 7: sc in next 7 st, (inc) x 10 times, sc in next 7 st 
Rnd 8: sc in all 34 st 
Rnd 9: sc in next 8 st, inc, sc in next 2 st, (sc in next st, inc) x 6 times, sc in next 2 st, inc, sc in next 8 st 
Rnd 10-14: sc in all 42 st 
Insert one of the safety eyes in the brown spot (near the edge). Insert safety eyes in the head between Rnd 6 and Rnd 7 (about 5 stitches in between the eyes).
Insert safety nose between Rnd 2 and Rnd 3. Keep in mind the symmetry in relation to eyes.
Rnd 15: (sc in next 5 st, dec) repeat 6 times 
Stuff the muzzle firmly with fiberfill.
Rnd 16: (sc in next 4 st, dec) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 17: (sc in next 3 st, dec) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 18: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 6 times 
Stuff the head with fiberfill. Shape the muzzle with your hand.
Rnd 19: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 20: (dec) repeat 6 times 
Fasten off leaving a small tail. Weave in the yarn tail in front loops of the rest 6 stitches with your hook or sewing needle, then pull to close the hole. Hide the end.
