For the unicorn pattern, are the arms able to move up and down or is it just stiff.

What is the size of the finished item, and what size hook are you suggesting?

The size of finished unicorn is about 35-40 cm. Suggested hook size is 2.5-3.0 mm.

I am not familiar with amigurumi crochet. Are these ‘creatures’ stuffed with fiberfill?

For the mane did you just go through one stitch? Or did you do more stitches for the mane? And how much of each color did you use?

I’m not familiar with the term “magic ring” although I have been crocheting for many years. Is this a series of chain stitches? if so how many?

It was very helpful because my friend is a unicorn enthusiast. She absolutely loved it and I am so thankful that you made this pattern. Thanks!

I’m a bit confused about starting the body after crocheting the legs. The legs plus the chain 3 in-between to join them all equals 39 stitches. To start the body, (rnd 1) you say to sc in the next 42 st. (but there’s only 39?) Am I missing something?

Hi Paige, here is the description of Rnd 1 of the body: crochet sc in next 18 st of the first leg, sc in next 3 ch, sc in next 18 st of the second leg, sc in next 3 ch (opposite side) = 42 st

These 3 ch are between the legs. Make 3 ch from the second leg and join it with the first one.

I’m having so much fun with this pattern! Thank you for sharing it. 🙂 For the torso of this unicorn, are we starting it as it’s own individual body part to sew on later or are we crocheting it up from the legs? (I’m a little lost on Round 1 on the Body.)

Love the pattern – I’m only making the head to attach to a lovey blanket. How did you make the nostrils?

Hello i am up to round 2 of the body where it states to inc 6 times into the belly. Does this mean to inc 6 times into the first stitch?
I would appreciate a little help. Slightly confused. I want to do this amazing pattern justice

Do you join each round with a slip stitch or keep crocheting in the round. Thanks
