  1. Your pattern is a sheer delight. The choice of colours is absolutely fascinating and eye catching. Had no idea that bodies can be created from some form of square, oblong, rectangle etc, to create a beautiful project. Thank you from the heart for sharing your wonderful creation. Peace and kindness.

    1. Hi Michelle 🙂 you can use 4 ply yarn and 2.0 mm crochet hook, or 8 ply yarn and 3.0 mm hook. In case you make the toy with bigger hook, the size will be larger.

  4. I am enjoying this pattern but not quite sure how to accomplish the body. I will not put wire just in case it protrudes eventually out of the item. Is there a video I can see the explanation of the body? Thank You for sharing this with us it is greatly appreciated. I will send a pic once completed.

    1. you could bind the ends of the wire loops with tape to cushion them and wrap some stuffing around before placing in the body

  5. Hi! Love all your patterns! But I am confused about 1 thing. I’m used to yarn with numbers 1-6 on them telling me the weight that way. Could you please explain what weight a 5-ply yarn would be?

  8. Hi was wondering how to finish off the ears or sew them on? It is open in the back and didn’t see anything explaining it.
    Thanks

  9. Hi, I’m really hoping you can help me with the ears.. I am sooo very confused. You have diagrams for other pieces of the pattern but not the ears. Any help would be so appreciated
    Thanks

  10. Hi! I absolutely love your works thank you for all the patterns.
I’m a bit confused about the ears of the raccon. Especially with row 5. Could you please help me a bit how to make this row?
    Thank you in advance!

  11. Hi, this raccoon pattern is simply amazing! I would like to ask, for the ears, what does it mean by 3 single crochet together? Also, the muzzle seems a bit long, is it supposed to be like that? where would you place the muzzle on the face of the raccoon? Thank you!

  12. I have seen a few comments about the ears and how we are supposed to finish them. Would you able to provide some guidance? Do we need to sew the back of the ear together before attaching as there is a gap. If you could let me know I would be very grateful. Apart from that I am loving this pattern and cannot wait to see the finished result. Thank you.
