I think there is a mistake in rows 16 and 17 of the head. Both say to end with 1 sc after the last set of (Scs Inc). But there are two stitches left in both rows. I even counted based on the number of stiches in row 15, and row 16 uses 41 of the 42 stitches.
Any suggestions?
Hi Sheryl, thanks a lot for your message! I updated the pattern, there is one more increase in each of 16-17 rounds.
What does it cost to buy rest of the pattern ?
Hi, where do I attach the tail? Onto the dress or body?
Hi there I’m a bit confused at the body and dress… Do you have to use pink and red together or is it an option? As I thought her dress is only red. Thanks
Hi Lisa, I added some phrases in the pattern to make it clear. So, you start with pink yarn to crochet the body. Then switch to red to crochet the dress. You’ll get a pink body under the red dress. If you have some more questions just let me know.
Thank you I managed it after reading it again a few times I’m a beginner x
Question: Approximately how big is the finished product?
About 20-25 cm depending on hook size and yarn weight.
Can i increase the size of the peppa pig? If so how to?
Yes, you can. Use thicker yarn and bigger crochet hook.
Hello, it is at row 19 that I have to turn to start the dress
And there is no explanation of rank 4 up to 9 for the dress
Hi Valerie, what do you mean? Not sure that I understood you right.
Hello this is my first attempt at amigurumi doing Peppa Pig. I am not sure how to join the legs. Do I attach them as I am crocheting the body or after? Do I leave them open in a cylinder and sew or squeeze the opening shut and sew together in one peace? Thanks Sue
Hi Susan, sew the legs after you finished the body. Sew them on as cylinders separately.
Thanks for that information.
Thanks for replying so quickly.
Do you have a pattern for George as well? Thanks
Hi Karen, not yet 🙂
Hi, your pattern is working out great for me so far, but my Peppa body is just round lika a ball, yours looks more flat… :/
Am i doing it wrong? Thanks
It looks more flat in the picture because the body is dressed 🙂
Lovely pattern, just finished mine and really happy with it 😀
I’m having trouble with round 20 on the head. I’m not sure what part to repeat.
Hi Andrea, repeat the part given in brackets.
i would like to make her smaller how would i do that
Hi Tonya, just take a thinner yarn and a smaller hook 🙂
Hi I am a little confused I just switched to the red to do the body and it says to do 1 round without changes so I assu.e the regular direction and the. Turn and crochet I opposite direction which I think is a crab stitch and do you do this for the rest of the dress? I am self taught so Learning as I go. Thank you for your help and the pattern.
Hi Lisa, it’s not a crab stitch. You just need to turn like when you crocheting in rows and continue working in the opposite direction.
Hi, are you able to clarify please, once you have turned direction, do you continue crocheting as rows rather than the continuous round? If you don’t join after turning how do you not get a weird bump from the turning point? I have tried googling but everything says that you never turn when doing continuous rounds so I can’t figure it out?
hi im trying to do peppa pig for a friend of mine and i just wondered could you tell me if you would do the inc and then just sc all the round for the next 6? thank you
Hi Theresa, which round and part do you mean?
What weight of yarn and hook size in US ? Thank you
Hi Jennie, please have a look at this yarn weight chart https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yarn_weight
hi, not understand at the part of body and dress. last body change to red yarn then how to continue? got video to show? thank you.
Turn and crochet in the opposite direction in spiral.
Cute peppa…
Hi, I’m using a magic ring instead of 2 chain in first rows. I hope this could help you. 🙂
Hi Carolina, you said that you were using the magic ring. Which parts did you uze the magic ring?
Thank you for a great pattern. I am nearly finished with my Peppa. Thanks for sharing 👏😊
Hi please can you clarify what weight yarn is used please dk /aran or worsted ???? please many thanks
This is baby yarn 🙂
sorry all you state is semi cotton ??

sorry to be a pain but what brand and shade was used to make peppa pig please
Thanks for the pattern I know a little girl that Pepa were her first real words, so I can’t wait to see her face when she gets her crocheted Pepa
Oh, this is so sweet ❤ 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern. I really enjoyed making it.
Hi Sara, we’re so happy you liked it! 🙂❤💕
Hi! Is there a part missing in the pattern for the body? I’m working on it and understand what it’s suppsoed to do to make the dress but I can’t seem to see a continuation of it to go up to her head, it seems to just stop at completing then bottom half of her body. Was there a change and it was deleted or is this just a display issue on my end?
It’s not missing. Please follow the pattern.
Dear Amigurumi Today
Thank you for a great pattern!
I would very much like to translate your pattern til Danish. Would it be okay for me to do that, an put it om my homepage? I will of course put your name on it and referre to you as the designer 🙂
Best regards
Mathilde
Hi Mathilde 🙂 This is not allowed.
Hi, please can you explain in a bit more detail how to change direction when starting the dress please? If I simply change direction I end up with a horrible big bump where I changed direction, should I be ending Rnd 19 with a slip stitch or joining the last stitch of rnd 20 with a slip stitch then continuing with the spiral? I have tried googling it but everything I can find says that you never change direction when crocheting in a spiral. I would really appreciate any extra clarity you may be able to give on this please?
Thanks for sharing this pattern. I’ve made it for a couple of coworker’s little girls and they just love it! The pattern is easy to follow and the likeness is perfect!
Thank you, Laura!
This is a really nice pattern!
But when you are making the body, and shifts from pink to red – what do you mean by turn? If i go the other direction, is the dress going to be inside out?
I am doing a peppa pig for the first time and barely I have done only 3 amigurumi patterns. But this pattern was easy to follow ad my peppa came out pretty good for a beginner.my daughter loved it. Thank u
Thank you! 🌹😊
For the beginning of the dress….do you detach the yarn and restart as the rows start at row 1 or keep the yarn connected and turn? Because if so I folled what you have written and it’s getting bigger as I crochet up towards the head which would mean it’s being done backwards……so I am confused. I wish I could post a picture
Hi where do you attached the arms on wat row ,wld it be on row 17 and attatch as i did the legs tia ann
Thanks for the pattern😍 i make my first peppa and my daughter is very happy
😍😍😍😍😍
Sehr schön und lieb Danke für die Anleitung
Hi!! I really love your Peppa design. It’s easy to follow 🙂 I just have one question: when you say, crochet the legs as you go, in which stich number from the 48 stitches should I join the legs on each side? Is it ok to join each in stitch 24 for example? Thank you very much!
I end up with 52 st after round 6 on the dress. And after round 10 I end up with 52 st. The sc in round 6 will not increase it to 53 and the 6 sc in round 10 will not increase it to 61 either. Have I gotten it wrong?
Never mind my comment. Seems I miscounted.
Hello! Do you have a pattern for the brother, George Pig? I am going to make Peppa for my great neice and I think she would also like George.
Runde 16: Abheben;fm in die nächsten

Please keep us posted if you create a pattern for Mum and Dad pigs. 😊
How do I attach the head?
Thank you love it turned out wonderful
Dear Amigurumi Today!
Thank you for the pattern, my son loves, Peppa, I started crocheting for him.
Isn’t there a missing row for the head? It ends with row 36, 12 stitches, but than it says pull thread through the remaining 6 stitches. So, there is a row 37, with decreases, from 12 to 6 stitches. Am I right?
Thank you.
Alexandra
Hi Alexandra 🙂 thank you for letting know. You’re absolutely right 🙂

Where exactly does Peppa’’s tail go? On the back of the skirt?
why doesn’t the pattern print in full? each time I click on print, it will only print one page. the printed pattern is a must for me as I cannot keep going back to the computer to see the next part.
Online version of this pattern is free, but if you want to print or download it, you have to buy PDF version.
Ik heb zowel Potato als Peppa Pig gehaakt voor mijn kleindochter Sinne (3jaar). Ze is echt superfan.
Does anybody know how to do the dress?
