I think there is a mistake in rows 16 and 17 of the head. Both say to end with 1 sc after the last set of (Scs Inc). But there are two stitches left in both rows. I even counted based on the number of stiches in row 15, and row 16 uses 41 of the 42 stitches.

    Any suggestions?

Hi Sheryl, thanks a lot for your message! I updated the pattern, there is one more increase in each of 16-17 rounds.

Hi there I’m a bit confused at the body and dress… Do you have to use pink and red together or is it an option? As I thought her dress is only red. Thanks

Hi Lisa, I added some phrases in the pattern to make it clear. So, you start with pink yarn to crochet the body. Then switch to red to crochet the dress. You’ll get a pink body under the red dress. If you have some more questions just let me know.

Hello this is my first attempt at amigurumi doing Peppa Pig. I am not sure how to join the legs. Do I attach them as I am crocheting the body or after? Do I leave them open in a cylinder and sew or squeeze the opening shut and sew together in one peace? Thanks Sue

Hi Susan, sew the legs after you finished the body. Sew them on as cylinders separately.

Hi I am a little confused I just switched to the red to do the body and it says to do 1 round without changes so I assu.e the regular direction and the. Turn and crochet I opposite direction which I think is a crab stitch and do you do this for the rest of the dress? I am self taught so Learning as I go. Thank you for your help and the pattern.

Hi Lisa, it’s not a crab stitch. You just need to turn like when you crocheting in rows and continue working in the opposite direction.

Hi, are you able to clarify please, once you have turned direction, do you continue crocheting as rows rather than the continuous round? If you don’t join after turning how do you not get a weird bump from the turning point? I have tried googling but everything says that you never turn when doing continuous rounds so I can’t figure it out?

Hi! Is there a part missing in the pattern for the body? I’m working on it and understand what it’s suppsoed to do to make the dress but I can’t seem to see a continuation of it to go up to her head, it seems to just stop at completing then bottom half of her body. Was there a change and it was deleted or is this just a display issue on my end?

Hi, please can you explain in a bit more detail how to change direction when starting the dress please? If I simply change direction I end up with a horrible big bump where I changed direction, should I be ending Rnd 19 with a slip stitch or joining the last stitch of rnd 20 with a slip stitch then continuing with the spiral? I have tried googling it but everything I can find says that you never change direction when crocheting in a spiral. I would really appreciate any extra clarity you may be able to give on this please?

For the beginning of the dress….do you detach the yarn and restart as the rows start at row 1 or keep the yarn connected and turn? Because if so I folled what you have written and it’s getting bigger as I crochet up towards the head which would mean it’s being done backwards……so I am confused. I wish I could post a picture

Thank you for the pattern, my son loves, Peppa, I started crocheting for him.
Isn’t there a missing row for the head? It ends with row 36, 12 stitches, but than it says pull thread through the remaining 6 stitches. So, there is a row 37, with decreases, from 12 to 6 stitches. Am I right?
    Thank you.

Hi! The Peppa Pig turned out great! I was wondering if you’re considering making a pattern for George? I’m sure I and many others would even be willing to pay for the pattern. 😊

why doesn’t the pattern print in full? each time I click on print, it will only print one page. the printed pattern is a must for me as I cannot keep going back to the computer to see the next part.
