what a great pattern. i am going to do this one. thank you
How did you make ‘contraction’ for eyes? I’ve never heard of that. Did you just pinch the area between the eyes and sew it so there’s a pucker between the eyes? Can’t wait to make him! 🙂
Hi Peggy, in other words it’s called “indent”. You can see the example of eye contractions in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lETBf2WarfA (starting from 17th minute)
Do you join with a slip stitch at the end of each round? Do you chain 1 at the beginning of each round? So cute! Trying to make now, just a little confused.
Hi Rachel, please work in continuous rounds (in spiral) without sl st joining and lifting ch.
It’s easier to work in tounds using sl st join. You always know exactly where the new round begins.
Krásné roztomilé opičky. Děkuji moc za návod.
💕🌸
Just made the head and arms of this cute little guy for a lovey blanket, thanks for sharing, will likely make him again.
Hi, a really great pattern, thank you. how big are the eyes? Thank you for the answer.
Hi Ina, the size of the eyes depends on the yarn weight you use.

Hi Debra, you can make this monkey without button joints. You can use plastic joints instead https://www.amazon.com/s?k=doll+joints&ref=nb_sb_noss_1
