I love this pattern! Very easy to follow. BTW I’ve looked up boucle yarn on the internet. All anyone has are in solid colors. So I took different yarns like ombre in a dk and other compatible colors in worsted wt added in a few strands of white with silver. Looks great!
This pattern is ADORABLE like I am OBSESSED. It is so cute, I made it for a birthday gift and they loved it.
Would you mind posting the exact name brand and color for the yarn used? I know it’s boucle yarn, but I can’t find the one used in the picture by using key words. I really like the one used here and can’t find anything anywhere near this color.
Could you tell me how to do the braided hair version form the other photo?
It’s boucle yarn
Hello, love this pattern, very easy to follow, do we have permission to sell finished product.
Hi 🙂 Yes, you can sell finished toys, but not more than 50 items per month.
Where did you put the hair on the head? In a circle, or in a different formation?
Hi! For the find, do you go in a circle? It’s a magic ring… is it a two layered? Could you stuff them?
Hi 🙂 Yes, please crochet in continuous rounds. Don’t stuff the fins.
For this each row do you sl st then start the next or do you just keep going in a spiral? Thanks!
Hi 🙂 Please work in spiral 🙂
Hi, I am struggling to figure out how to start the belt! How to you add the yarn to row 25 and how can you tell which are the front loops on already completed stitches?
Where can I find the pattern for the blonde mermaid. Pictured on right
Hey! I just finished mine and it turned out SO cute. I don’t know if this is how the designer did it but I just started to crochet another head out of the color yarn I wanted to use for hair and worked it ending before the decreases started so it fit like a cap. I off-set it and sewed it in place. Then I took about 10 strands of yarn and fed it through a loop near the rim of the “cap,” wrapped it around the rim meeting over the opposite shoulder and braided it. Hope that helps!
How does a person get the free pattern as stated on line? It won’t let you copy it, and if you click on the PDF file it takes you to the site where you have to pay for the pattern. This is very frustrating, you have a number of crochet pattern that state they are free. I have yet to get one. Is there a secret to getting it?
Thank you
Linda
Hi Linda 🙂 You can use online versions of the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free. Because it takes a lot of time to prepare the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. We don’t hide the instructions. Hope for your understanding 🙂
Hi there, cant wait to try this pattern out .
HI Can you do all these in DK 2.50mm hook

Thank you! ❤🌹
hi, the number of stitches for the last row of the head and body is different. may i know how do you join the head to the body since the number of stitches are different.
Hi Kitty, it’s not necessary 🙂 The seam will be neater in case you use the described method.
Hi 🙂 The beads are sewn. The place for lips is up to you! 🙂
Hi Carmen, unfortunately, this yarn is not produced anymore. Try to find a similar yarn by words “boucle yarn”.
What kind of yarn did you use for the hair?
This is a boucle yarn 🙂
this is wondeful! How would you change this for the doll to have legs and the tail be removable?
Hi! About which row did you sew the mermaid arms on? Just trying to get an idea on placement as I start putting her together. 🙂
Hi Danielle, please sew the arms on the 3rd round counting from the top of the body (neck area).
How do you put the hair on
Hi Cathy, please watch a video-tutorial on how to attach hair (starting from 48:05) https://youtu.be/ZEp8T41zNtg?t=48m7s
How did you make that hair?
It’s a curling yarn.
Hello what is a magic ring?
