I really enjoyed making this and it turned out so cute too! However, i think the eye strap should be ch 61 instead of 51 to fit around the head. Pls correct me if I’m wrong, but I changed to 61 and it was much better for me. Thank you so much for this pattern! You are a genius!!

I have a darker shade of 4 ply yellow yarn. It wont look as good but i’m sure it’ll look like a minion still
it says free pattern but why does it ask me to pay if I want to download the pattern?
Hi 🙂 You can use online versions of the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free, because it takes a lot of time to make the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. Hope for your understanding 🙂
The pattern for the Hawaiian Minion says it is free. but If I try to download, it lists the cost at $2.99..Wht’s up with that?

Hi Erica 🙂 , the size of finished toy depends on your yarn weight, hook size and the tightness of stitches.
