would anyone be willing to explain the skirt instructions in a different way? I don’t understand them.

Just a question on the patterns that you’re picking up a front lupe to add something on
Do you work it from the top of the item you’re working on or from the bottom.
Like I added the skirt to this pattern but the front is actually on the back side and front side facing back.
Not sure what I’m doing wrong, Hope you can understand my question. Was afraid to ask as I should know this.
