This adorable sleeping fox amigurumi helps babies to fall asleep and see beautiful dreams 🙂 You can make the toy by your own on the basis of our free amigurumi pattern.
Using fine acrylic yarn and 3 mm crochet hook you will create a fox of about 19 cm (7.5″) tall. You can use a thicker yarn and appropriate hook to make it larger or use a thinner yarn to make your fox amigurumi smaller.
- Fine (5 ply) 100% acrylic yarn
- 3.0 mm crochet hook
- Some black embroidery floss
- Scissors and sewing needle

dec = decrease
sl st = slip stitch
(..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches
Work in continuous rounds using a yarn marker.
Legs (make 2):
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring 
Rnd 2: (inc) x 6 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) x 6 times 
Rnd 4-14: sc in all 18 st 
Fasten off with sl st. Crochet the second leg in the same way, but don’t fasten off. Continue crocheting the body.
Join the legs crocheting sc in the next 6 st through the loops of two parts.
Rnd 1: sc in all 24 st around the body 
Rnd 2: (sc in next 3 st, inc) x 6 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next 4 st, inc) x 6 times 
Rnd 4-8: sc in all 36 st 
Rnd 9: (sc in next 4 st, dec) x 6 times 
Rnd 10-12: sc in all 30 st 
Rnd 13: (sc in next 3 st, dec) x 6 times 
Rnd 14-16: sc in all 24 st 
Rnd 17: (sc in next 2 st, dec) x 6 times 
Rnd 18-20: sc in all 18 st 
Fasten off with sl st leaving a long tail for sewing. Stuff with fiberfill.
