To crochet this bunny egg amigurumi you’ll need:
- Light worsted (DK) yarn – Gazzal XL Baby Cotton (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 105 m / 50 g) in desired colors
- 3.0 mm crochet hook
- 6 mm safety eyes or beads
- Tapestry needle
The size of amigurumi bunny egg is about 5.5-6 cm (2″-2.3″) without ears – like the size of a real egg (if you use a yarn of the same weight and similar hook).

Crochet in continuous rounds using a stitch marker.
Rnd 1: 7 sc in magic ring 
Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 7 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 4 times, sc in next 2 st 
Rnd 4: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 3 times 
Rnd 5: (sc in next 6 st, inc) repeat 3 times 
Rnd 6: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 4 times 
Rnd 7: (sc in next 6 st, inc) repeat 4 times 
Rnd 8: (sc in next 15 st, inc) repeat 2 times 
Rnd 9-14: sc in all 34 st 
Insert safety eyes between Rnd 7 and Rnd 8 (about 5 st between the eyes).
Rnd 15: (sc in next 7 st, dec) repeat 3 times, sc in next 5 st, dec 
Rnd 16: sc in all 30 st 
Rnd 17: (sc in next 4 st, dec) repeat 5 times

Dec 2 times, cut off the yarn, leaving a small tail. Pass the yarn end through the front loops of the rest 6 stitches with your hook or sewing needle and pull to close the hole. Fasten off and weave in the end.
