- Semi-cotton yarn Yarnart Jeans (160 m / 50 g; 55% cotton, 45% acrylic)
- 2.0 mm crochet hook
- Fiberfill for stuffing
- 5-6 mm safety eyes
- Some black embroidery thread for lashes
- Scissors and tapestry needle

Skill level: advanced
The finished crochet doll is about 16 cm (6.3″) tall, if you use the same supplies. The doll amigurumi pattern can also work well with thicker yarn, but in that case your doll will be bigger.

Free Crochet Pattern
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch
dc = double crochet
hdc = half double crochet
(..) = repeat the instructions in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches
Legs (make 2):
Begin crocheting shoes with blue or red yarn (the color of dress). Make 6 ch.
Rnd 1: inc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 st, 4 sc in next st, turn, sc in next 3 st, inc [14]
Rnd 2: sc in next st, inc, sc in next 3 st, (inc) x 4 times, sc in next 3 st, inc, sl st in next st [20]
Rnd 3: sc in next 20 st in back loops only [20]
Rnd 4: sc in next 20 st [20]
Cut out two soles from cardboard using this crochet sample. The cardboard sole should be about 2 mm smaller than crochet sole on all edges. Insert the cardboard sole inside the shoe.
Rnd 5: sc in next 5 st, (dec) x 6 times, sc in next 3 st [14]
Stuff as you go.
Rnd 6: sc in next 5 st, (dec) x 3 times, sc in next 2 st, sl st in next st [11]
When crocheting the last loop of Rnd 6, change to white yarn (the color of tights).
Rnd 7: crochet this round in back loops only – sc in next 4 st, dec, dec, sc in next 3 st [9]
Rnd 8-18: sc in all 9 st [9]
Cut off the yarn, but don’t fasten off. Crochet the second leg in the same way but don’t cut off the yarn, continue working.

I have been constantly trying to view ‘cuddle me’ hippo pattern online and it takes me to the head only and for some reason logs me out. I seem to be a le to view most other patterns without any problems. I do like your patterns and usually try as many as I can as I donate all toys made to under privileged children to give a little joy into their lives.
I even changed my email address and password thinking that would help even though it is not my preferred email address
