Hat:
– Crochet a chain equal to the height of your hat. Note that if you want a hat to be cuffed, you should crochet a chain a bit longer.
– First row: sc in each ch till the end. Turn (make a turning ch at the end of each row).
– Sc in all st in back loops only excluding the first and the last stitches (crochet in both loops), thus you will get a neat edge. All further rows are crocheted in this way.
– Crochet a rectangle as described above and try it on the cat head. When the length suits, fasten off, leaving a 20-30 cm tail.
I’d like to buy the pdf of this pattern, but it’s not in your pattern store, can you tell me where to find it. Thanks
Love these cats!! I have made four and am on my fifth. All of my grandchildren want one and I made one for my friend. They are sooo cute!! Thank you for your creative design.
Hi, I love Your patterns. I went to link to purchase so I can print it, but it’s no longer there. Is the link correct?
Thank you for such wonderful patterns!

Hola. Me encantan todos tus patrones. Los resultados son muy bonitos, y los patrones están muy bien explicados.
Gracias! 🌷💕
Hi! I have a question regarding the row 2 on the belly part of the cat. Is the increase meant to be at the front of the cat? Because after attaching the legs, my increase is at the back, so giving the cat a flat belly and round bum. 🙂 Thank you for sharing the patterns for free, much appreciated.
I’m absolutely loving the pattern! One question though, how do I attach the head, arms, and tail to the body?
Hi Lily 🙂 Sew them on the places with sewing needle.
Muchas gracias por compartir tus hermosos patrones. Saludos desde Ovalle, Chile.
Muchas gracias, Dely 🌹🙂
Sei bravissima e gentilissima nel dare gli schemi gratis. ❤

I really, really love your pattern. I have made two cats so far for my daughters and will surely make others for my niece and sister. Thank you so much for sharing this pattern.
Hello,
I hope all is well, I was very pleased to see all these beautiful toys, but I was wondering if you had the same or similar toys in knitting patterns?.
But I’m just a beginner and if there are any simple knitted toy patterns could you please share them with me small dolls,cats, etc I would really appreciate it.
Thank you and keep up the good work.
Debra.
Hi Debra, unfortunately, we have only crochet patterns at the moment.
What happened to the free copy?? It says exactly that at the top of the page but when you try to download it, it says you have to pay!! What’s with that??
Hi Julie 🙂 You can view the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free. Because it takes a lot of time to prepare the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. We don’t hide the instructions. Hope for your understanding 🙂
Hi! I am having some trouble attaching the legs together and the toes remaining straight in the front. Is it possible that I may have to fasten off both legs and attach them in the correct position? My last stitch on the second leg ended close to the back of the leg and it is hard to attach them from there. Any tips?
Hi Kelli, there are two ways to resolve this issue:
1) Crochet more stitches on the second leg to get the hook on the right place for joining.
2) Fasten off two legs, choose the right position and join them. Then continue crocheting the body.
Hello, your cat pattern is so beautiful. Is there a way I can print this pattern? When I ask for the pdf it takes me to a site to buy but there is no cat pattern. I am happy to buy the pdf for the cats with hats. I am looking forward to making them.
Hi Christine, here is a link to the PDF pattern https://shop.amigurumi.today/products/crochet-cat-pattern-printable-pdf
That link isn’t working anymore. Is it possible to get the printable pdf still?
Thanks for sharing your creativity!
Thank you so much for clarifying! 🙂 This is my ever first attempt at making anything with a magic circle, so I’m quite excited. Thanks again for sharing.
The eye size depends on the toy size, it can be different because of yarn weight and hook size. Please see the hat instructions in this post https://amigurumi.today/baby-penguin-amigurumi-pattern-free/ Don’t gather the edges of the hat top, simply flatten it and crochet along, through the edges.
Great, thanks!
I like this cat so much
I don’t know how to join the leg
Hi Meo, you should crochet 3 ch from one leg and join with sl st to another. Then crochet along the leg around, sc in next 3 ch, crochet along the second leg around and 3 sc on the opposite side of chain.
Yeah, thank you very much for your detailed instruction
I got confused at the leg part as well. When I did 4 tr in a st and the next round sc in each st but the total is 42 st and not 30 like in the pattern. Do you have a video of this pattern?
Hi, please crochet 4 tr with one top loop as bobble stitch is made https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHFoIhvay3I
So instead of 4 st you will get 1 st after doing it.
Thank you for your fast respond 🙂
Hi the feet im ending up with too many tiches from the 4 tr is it ment to be a tr dec?
Hi Tracey, you should crochet 4 tr in next stitch as a bobble stitch.
Please the instructions in German!

sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec = decrease (two sc together)
(…) repeat N times – repeat the given number of times the part given in the brackets
