Sl st in next st. Change to dark gray yarn.

Rnd 14: (sc in next 8 st, dec) repeat 3 times [27]
Rnd 15-22: sc in all 27 st [27]
When finishing the 4th leg, don’t cut off the yarn. Continue working on the body.
It’s better to embroider the toes after joining the legs to the body so that they look straight ahead.

Dank voor het patroon. Eén uitdaging om aan te beginnen. Maar ik ga het zeker proberen.
Hello from Paris France
Very good pattern as usual on your site.
I already made the monkey with baby, two hippos and a rhino, the vampire and more.
Just finished body and head or the éléphant and now crocheting the ears. (The end is close)
I just find the tail part or the pattern not very clear : the text mentions two strands, and three seams to appear on the picture. Thanks your in advance for further explanations.
In the meantime, I intend to attach 3 strands and weave a braid for the tail.
Thanks your for all the nice and clear patterns
super,elefantul
