To crochet this amigurumi bunny cupcake you need:
- Fine semi-cotton yarn (160 m / 50 g)
- 2.2 mm crochet hook
- 8 mm safety eyes or black beads
- 8 mm safety nose or some pink embroidery thread
- Some plastic or thick cardboard
- Scissors and sewing needle
Skill level: intermediate
The size of finished amigurumi cupcake is about 9 cm (3.5″) without bunny ears. Please pay attention that size of your crochet cupcake can be different, if you use thinner or thicker yarn.

st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (crochet 2 stitches in one stitch)
dec = decrease (crochet 2 stitches together as one stitch)
sl st = slip stitch
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
FPdc = front post double crochet
BPdc = back post double crochet
(..) = repeat the instructions in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches
Crochet with beige yarn.
Rnd 1: 7 sc in magic ring 
Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 7 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 7 times 
Rnd 4: sc in next st, inc, (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times, sc in next st 
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 7 times 
Rnd 6: sc in next 2 st, inc, (sc in next 4 st, inc) repeat 6 times, sc in next 2 st 
Sc in next st, sl st in next st. Fasten off and weave in the end.
Cut out a circle from plastic or thick cardboard. The diameter of the circle should be a little smaller than crocheted bottom part.
Crochet with white yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring 
Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 7: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 8: (sc in next 6 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 9: (sc in next 7 st, inc) repeat 6 times 
Rnd 10: (sc in next 26 st, inc) repeat 2 times 
Rnd 11-14: sc in all 56 st 
Rnd 15: sc in next 55 st, sl st in next st 
Rnd 16: sc in all 56 st in back loops only 
Change to beige yarn.
Rnd 17: sc in all 56 st 
Don’t cut off the beige yarn.
Join white yarn to one of the front loops of Rnd 15.
Make frilling: (skip 1 st, 6 dc in next st, skip 1 st, sc in next st) repeat 14 times. Fasten off and hide the end.
Insert safety eyes between Rnd 12 and Rnd 13 at the distance of 7 stitches from each other. Insert safety nose between Rnd 13 and Rnd 14 symmetrically in relation to the eyes.
Continue working with beige yarn.
Rnd 18: (sc in next 2 st, dec) repeat 14 times 
Sl st in next st.
Rnd 19: 2 ch (counted as dc), dc in next 41 st 
Rnd 20-24: 2 ch, (FPdc in next st, BPdc in next st) repeat 21 times, join with sl st 
Stuff with fiberfill. Join bottom part to the cup while working on the next round. When you will make the half of Rnd 25 insert plastic or cardboard circle which you made before. Pay attention that there should be no fiberfill between the bottom part and the plastic circle.
Rnd 25: crochet sl st in front loops of the cup and both loops of the bottom part, add a little bit more fiberfill before you finish the round 
Fasten off and weave in the end.
