Make a carcass from the wire as shown on the photo. Bend the ends up and tape round with a tape. Insert the carcass. The upper ends should go through the neck into the head. Stuff the neck and the upper part of the body.
Rnd 40: dec, fix the leg to the body, wind the hook around the leg and crochet sc in the next 2 st, (dec, sc in the next 2 st) repeat 2 times, dec, fix the second leg to the body, wind the hook around the leg and crochet sc in the next 2 st, (dec, sc in the next 2 st) repeat 2 times [18]
Rnd 41: (dec, sc in the next st) repeat 6 times [12]
Rnd 42: (dec) repeat 6 times, draw the stitches together, fasten off.
Wind brown or beige yarn around the legs. To do this put glue on the legs, put the yarn as near as possible to the body and begin to wind around the leg. (Wind in the direction from yourself, unwinding the yarn itself to get smoother covering). When you reach the first toe, cut the yarn of about 1.5 m length, insert into the needle and wind the toe between the two wire frames.
Try to get it tighter and firmer for the wire not to move and not to look through the yarn. Wind all the fingers and the leg putting some glue on it. Tie two yarn ends together and hide inside the body.

What does 7 rounds without changes (for head and body: Round 30-36) mean?
Clearly a beginner here.
I would like to adapt the eyes and beak to look like a kookaburra. Do you think it would be possible.?
What is the size of the shawl in inches, please! And is there a crochet shawl for this?
Can someone tell me how I can download the free pattern please…?? If I click on download PDF, it takes me to the site for thee payed version..??

A lxs amigxs que no leen inglés, lxs aliento a guiarse por los números y las imágenes. Si ya saben la técnica básica de amigurumi no es complicado. Greetings! Saludos!
Gracias! 🌹💕

Hi! I love this bird. It is very original. I have already done 3 to gift them to my friends.
Would you mind if I put the pattern in Spanish in my blog?. Obviously, I would cite your reference and remark that it is not my own idea but yours.
Thank you so much for sharing such grate patterns with us.
Hi Yolanda, sorry, copying and translation in other languages are not allowed. Hope for understanding.
