Hi Helle 🙂 You can view the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free. Because it takes a lot of time to prepare the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. We don’t hide the instructions, as for the paid patterns. Hope for your understanding 🙂

Hi I have a general question regarding all free patterns. Are you allowed to sell items you have made from free patterns as I have not seen any restrictions on the patterns. I would never claim I made the pattern but I do raise money for a small charity I volunteer in and would like to know the law. I would out of curtesy try and get in touch with the owner of the pattern to check but would like to know the actual law. I am in the UK. Thank you in advance

Hi Diah 🙂 How to crochet bobble stitch: work 4 dc all into the same stitch, leaving the last loop unworked on the hook each time. When you have 5 loops on the hook, yarn over and pull trough all 5 loops.

Hello..I am confused with row 3 of the cap…do you sc inc in every stitch around? wwhich would end up with 24stitches…then row 4 to make bobble in every stitches and still 24 stitches at th end? I end up with more than that..What am I doing wrong?

Please make bobble stitches according to the pattern: 1 bobble, then 1 hdc, 1 bobble, 1 hdc, 1 bobble, 1 hdc, etc.

I am making one of these now and am wondering if the pattern is correct as the head finishes with 12 stitches in the last row and the body finishes with 16 stitches at the neck. So they are not supposed to have the same number of stitches when they are sewn together?

Yes, it’s correct, thus a neck seam will be neater 🙂

Question on the bobble stitches–are they worked from the inside out (counter-clockwise)? Bobbles form on the back side when crocheting, so if I crochet normally (clockwise), the bobbles will be on the inside.

I’m having the same problem Vicki. My bobbles are in the inside. Does working counter clockwise work with the bobbles facing outwards?

    Hi Karen and Vicky
Bobbles form inside out. Just push them through to right side

I have made 5 of your animals already, but I’m having the worst time with the cap. If I make 1 bobble and 1 HDC in the stitch, I end up with way to much stitches. I crochet a lot but I can’t understand what I’m doing wrong? Pls help me

Hi Robin, please crochet bobble and hdc in the same st only in the Rnd 2. In the following rounds please make bobble and hdc in separate stitches.
Rnd 2: (bo + hdc in one st) repeat 6 times
Other rounds with bobble st: (bo in next st, hdc in next st) repeat x times.
