the link said free patterns but when I got here I can’t copy and paste and when you click the pdf button it wants you to pay!
Hi Desa 🙂 You can view the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free. Because it takes a lot of time to prepare the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. We don’t hide the instructions. Hope for your understanding 🙂
Thank you for sharing your patterns! They are so cute and have made me ready to pick my crochet hook back up after several months of not crocheting. I love to crochet amigurumis to give as gifts.
At least allow copy and paste so I can increase the size of the print to make it easier to read while I crochet. Thanks
I love how it goes into details about everything. This is my first amigurumi I’m making. So excited about it. I will post a picture when I’m done!

Hi Birgit, translation in other languages is not allowed. Hope for understanding 🙂
I want to know what does it mean in the skirt part when you say “further”, that part is really confunsing! please!
It’s simply a sequence of actions, like the word “onwards” 🙂
Super cute and easy to make. Made one as a gift in grey with a green skirt and they loved it! Thank you for the pattern!
Thank you for the feedback 🌷💕
I am going to make your adorable hippo but l cannot work with such a small hook due to arthritis in my hands, my best will be a 3 1/2mm. My problem is what size eyes would you recommend l use?
Thank you in advance

Hi Doris, you can determine the eye size after making the half of the head or a bit more 🙂
I am making this hippo with super chunky wool and size 8 hook. It’s HUGE but so cute
Thank you for such an amazing pattern.
I started crocheting 4 days ago and I’m literally “hooked”. This will be my first large project.
Your instructions are very easy to follow and your photos help a lot; and although I could read the latter just fine on the site, I will buy the PDF file to support your generosity!
Thanks!!!
Thank you so much, Omar, for your kind support! 🌹💖
I made this, it is awesome and i love it! I love the tutu the best!! Thank you so much for sharing this pattern.
Helen
Thank you, Helen, for your feedback! 😊❤🌸
Hi!! beautiful pattern!! I am having problems crocheting the body, I don’t understand how the body stay open as I am crocheting, because mine only the part with he legs has an opening for stuffing. Can you help me?
Hi Luisa, which round is difficult? The body is started after both legs are finished. You just need to join them together and crochet around both legs at the same time in accordance with the pattern.
Hi, where am i supposed to do the second round of the skirt? On the first round of the skirt or on the body of hippo?
Hi 🙂 On the first round of the skirt.
Do you have a book with your cuddle me patterns in I live in Australia I do all my patterns in USA version
Hi Nita, we release only pdf versions of the patterns. You can buy them in our store >> http://shop.amigurumi.today
Many thanks for this amazing pattern! I’m just finishing of the body and will attempt the skirt next. I’m an absolute beginner and unfortunately don’t understand how to start the skirt. How do I make 2dc in the same stitch? Is that in the second stich of the 2ch? For the 3 dc do I go all the way around again?
It is a foundation of 2 ch (not the next st). As for the second question – crochet 3 dc in every stitch till the end of the round and finish with sl st.
Hi!
Lovely pattern so far 🙂
I’m starting now the body. How are we supposed to add the skirt if in round 10 we work on both loops? Is it better to, when on that round, make the skirt and then continue with the body or should we first do the whole body and then do the skirt? If second choice, how are we going to know were to do it?
Best regards,
Mercè
Hi Mercè, after making Rnd 11 of the body you should get front loops of Rnd 10 unworked. Use them to crochet the skirt for your hippo 🙂
Hi do you stuff the muzzle
Yes 🙂
Hice el hipopotamo y quedó precioso muchas gracias por el patrón.
Gracias!
Totally loved it, made it but in pink and it got mistaken for a pig so I slightly changed her snout and ears and added a curly tail. It was a fail on my side but she looks adorable both ways!!! 😍 thank you for the pattern I really REALLY loved it 😊
Thank you for your beautiful free patterns , I have just made the cuddly hippo . I found the muzzle a bit small the pattern says 3 rows but when I look at your sample I can see 4 rows . I am making a second one and will try 4 rows on the muzzle . I have enjoyed making the cuddly dancing hippo.
What is your policy for selling the finished products using your cuddle me animals?
You are more than welcome to sell finished crochet toys made with the help of our patterns, giving a credit to our website, but no more than 50 items per month 🙂
Gracias x Compartir tus creaciones eres muy amable
I am a beginner and i am trying to understand the muzzle part. Do you have images on how to go on the muzzle in spiral? I don’t quite understand how to make it the way it looks in your finished product. An image of the stitches after the chain and then a few rows later would help!
Thank you!
Hi Nancy 🙂 Please have a look at this picture https://amigurumi.today/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Screenshot_21.png

Hi, love your patterns! I am a beginner and don’t understand how to crochet the skirt. How do i start and how do I do 2 dc in the same stitch?
Please crochet 2 dc in the point where you started 2 ch.
