What kind of yarn are you supposed to use? Is it the cotton for doilies?

I would use the pattern for the dog’s spot or the bear’s muzzle. Both are 6sc in magic ring, then 2sc in each st foe the second row. (12 stitches total)

It depends on your yarn weight and hook size 🙂

hello from Uruguay, I am knitting the head of the rattle and I find the diameter of it a bit long.
In my case, after making al the increases, my head measures 7 cm of diamter. That is why I would like to know the how long is the diameter of the head ?

I am knitting with a 3 mm hook, perhaps the thread is wider than yours and I should make less increases. What is your opinion ? Regars, Andrea
