To crochet this deer amigurumi you need:
- Super fine 100% acrylic yarn (200 m / 50 g) in light brown, red, green, dark brown and white colors
- 2.0 mm crochet hook
- Fiberfill
- 9 mm safety eyes
- Some embroidery floss
- Scissors and sewing needle
- Button for snood scarf
Skill level: intermediate
The height of the finished amigurumi deer is about 18 cm (7″), if you use similar supplies.

st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch

Work in continuous rounds, using a stitch marker.
Head:
Crochet with light brown yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
Rnd 4: (sc in next 2 st, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 st, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
Rnd 6: (sc in next 4 st, inc) repeat 6 times [36]
Rnd 7: (sc in next 5 st, inc) repeat 6 times [42]
Rnd 8: (sc in next 6 st, inc) repeat 6 times [48]

Rnd 10-21: sc in all 54 st [54]
Insert safety eyes between Rnd 15 and Rnd 16 at 7 stitches in between the eyes.

Boots-trousers-sweater:
These parts are crocheted as a single piece. The parts are joined in the course of crocheting. Stuff them as you go.
Boots (make 2):
Make 6 ch with dark brown yarn.
Rnd 1: inc in the 2nd st from the hook, sc in next 3 st, 4 sc in last st, turn and continue working on the other side of the chain – sc in next 3 st, inc [14]
Rnd 2: sc in next st, inc, sc in next 3 st, (sc in next st, inc) x 2 times, sc in next 4 st, inc [18]
Rnd 3: sc in next 2 st, inc, sc in next 3 st, (sc in next 2 st, inc) x 2 times, sc in next 5 st, inc [22]
Rnd 4: sc in all 22 st in back loops only [22]
Change to red yarn.
Rnd 5-6: sc in all 22 st [22]
Rnd 7: sc in next 7 st, (dec) x 4 times, sc in next 7 st [18]

Fasten off and cut off the yarn.
Trousers:
Attach green yarn to the back loop of the last round of the boot.
Rnd 11: sc in all 12 st in back loops only [12]

Fasten off and hide the yarn end. Crochet the second trouser leg in the same way, but don’t fasten off, continue working.
Crochet additional sc stitches till the middle of the inner side of the hip (3 sc or so). Then make 5 ch and begin joining legs, as follows.

Sweater:
Change to red yarn.

Stuff with fiberfill. Flatten the edges and crochet 5 sc through the stitches of both layers, closing the hole. Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing.

Muzzle:
Take white or beige yarn and crochet 4 ch. Continue working around the foundation chain.

Mulțumesc mult pentru modelele pe care e permiteți sa le realizam. Sunt minunate! La modelul de cerb , la cizme, rândul 7 nu realizez ce sa fac, pe tru ca nu se vede ultima parte a schitei . Sunt începătoare și va mulțumesc pentru bunăvoința de a împărtăși cu noi pattern-urile.

I’m having a really difficult time understanding the muzzle part. For the life of me I can’t seem to understant how to do it. It said 8 chains, an increase, 6sc, increase repeat 2 times….repeat what??where?? I only had 8chains to begin with and the last increase leaves me at the very last chain… Hope you can help me.
