Hi, I’m just starting the reindeer but on the first step when making it head, but I’m slightly confused. Do I start with a magic ring and continue row 1 in a circle? Thanks, Emily

I can’t seem to get the free pattern for Rudolph. When I try I’m directed to the location where I have to pay for the pattern. So apparently, this isn’t a free pattern because I also cannot print this page.

Online version of this pattern is free, but if you want to print or download it, you have to buy PDF version.

You can use online versions of the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free, because it takes a lot of time to make the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. Hope for your understanding 🙂

I get emails all the time about the free crochet patterns that you offer. HOWEVER, I do not have a way of printing those patterns. Is there some magical way of downloading these. I just got an email telling me about the free deer, it is so cute! But, there again, I have no way of downloading the pattern. Could you please tell me the magic way of getting these on my desktop computer? Thank you!

Hello, just wondering if you start at the back of the head or front? I would like to change the color of the nose.

Head is worked from front to back. Nose is attached later 😉 I know it’s been a long time since you asked, but I hope this helps 🙂

Instructions for arms after Rw 4 it says “Sc in next st, sl st in next st” then Rw5 sc in all 24 st. What is the reasoning for the instruction “Sc in next st, sl st in next st”?

Please crochet around the foundation chain: along one side, turn, along the other side and so on.
