Me encanta el patrón del elefante. Intentaré hacerlo,
aunque en las explicaciones de la patas, no entiendo como se hace eso que pone en la parte trasera rulos y bucles. Si me lo pueden aclarar , quedaría muy agradecida

Hey there trying to make the pink elephant and can not figure out the first round for the ears. 7 ch, 1 sc in second stitch from hook, 4 sc in next st, 4 sc in last stitch… are we supposed to skip the middle stitches? Thanks!

Hi Lyn 🙂 You can view the patterns for free on our website and mobile app. PDF version itself is not free. Because it takes a lot of time to prepare the patterns. So, in spite of this fact all people who can’t pay for PDF patterns can view them on the website and make wonderful toys. We don’t hide the instructions. Hope for your understanding 🙂

Hi Milena: I want to make this for my granddaughters 3rd birthday at the beginning of May. Do you have instructions to make this larger? She loves elephants. My daughter let her see the picture and now I have to make it for her because she is dead set on her having her elephant which is your picture. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi, I am following along with the pattern. But I am not in love with my trunk. Do you have tips to keep it bent?

This depends on your yarn choice. If you want bendable trunk, you can insert some wire in it.

Bring matching thread in through underside and hide thread knot. Push thread back and forth inside trunk between places to create curves …. pull tightly to create curves. I made a top outward curve and a lower curve like in the picture. All from the inside with thread pulled tightly. Tie knots on underside and push under crochet to hide. Same way you make eye indentations for faces.

It helps to shape the trunk so it bends in the right places and doesn’t stick straight out.
