I think your girlie elephant is adorable and I think my great granddaughter might just love to have her. She be 3 next February. I’ll start with Christmas as my “due date” and be grateful if it is done by her B’day. See… she now has a cousin who just turned one, and a brother who just reached the milestone of two months. So, I need to plan carefully and then hope for more “good days” than weary ones. (I’ll be 85 in January, and have no where near the speed I had sixty years ago. But slow or not, I’ve never enjoyed crocheting more. All the designs to pick from are amazing and wonderful. Happy Crocheting All!!

I tried to post a picture of the elephant I crocheted but it didnt work, but thank you! She is adorable! I got a bit ahead of myself and sewed the head on before the arms; big mistake! I could not remove the head so I really had to modify things but it all worked out. I may do another one but read ALL the directions the next time 🙂

Hi Caitlynne, just make neat and tight stitches using tapestry needle 🙂 Also, you can divide the yarn into two parts and work with a thinner thread.

Could you tell me how to make 2dc in one stitch in the flower pattern? I’m not sure in which stitch should I put my hook after I chain 2. In the one I’ve made as the last one, below 2 chains or the next one, first from the last round?

I noticed several questions about sewing the ears together. You can crochet the inner ear to the outer when you do the last row of the outer ear. It eliminates the need to sew them. Great pattern. Thanks for sharing.

Hola!

I wanted to make the little elephant and I wanted to crochet from head to body without sewing (like the tiny series you have) how would you suggest I do it? Should I alter the tiny series patterns to fit the size I want? Love your patterns!
