This is something I need to do….i need to learn real soon…i have grandkids! This is a step by step…but I need the basic beginners instructions.
YouTube will show you all you need to know to learn! I’ve crocheted for years, (don’t remember who even showed me) but never could know til I tried youtube videos. It took a little time and patient but I have faith u can do it!
Thankyou so much , I’ d like the patterns
I would like to make every one of them. I think I will. Thanks to you.
These little ones will have a forever home soon. Darling pattern! You are very talented……thank you!
Love these so much! Amazing work!
I think your girlie elephant is adorable and I think my great granddaughter might just love to have her. She be 3 next February. I’ll start with Christmas as my “due date” and be grateful if it is done by her B’day. See… she now has a cousin who just turned one, and a brother who just reached the milestone of two months. So, I need to plan carefully and then hope for more “good days” than weary ones. (I’ll be 85 in January, and have no where near the speed I had sixty years ago. But slow or not, I’ve never enjoyed crocheting more. All the designs to pick from are amazing and wonderful. Happy Crocheting All!!
Thank you for your warm story 😊❤ It made me smile and happy!!! Think your grandkids will get especial wonderful gifts.

Such a cutie 😍 Love it i’ll be making this soon. I also would like to ask for your permission to translate this to sinhala for my local group.
Hi Asin, unfortunately, translation in other languages is not allowed.
That’s totally fine I can understand 😊 I’ll be making this for my 1 year old niece. I’m sure this one is going to be her new pal. Thank you <3
Great pattern, easy to follow and the finished product was as adorable as the picture.
Can’t wait to make this pattern for my youngest
Easy to follow pattern, and makes up to be such a cute amigurumi!
Very well written pattern, easy to follow with lots of details and explanations
Great pattern!
I love this pattern. Easy to follow and makes the most beautiful amigurumi. Would recommend to anyone. Timeless pattern
Easy to follow pattern. Very cute, too.
love them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone who has made it recommend a good substitute yarn? This yarn is not available in my country.
I’ve used 4 ply yarn and go down a couple hook sizes or sports weight yarn (2-3 ply) works well too
I tried to post a picture of the elephant I crocheted but it didnt work, but thank you! She is adorable! I got a bit ahead of myself and sewed the head on before the arms; big mistake! I could not remove the head so I really had to modify things but it all worked out. I may do another one but read ALL the directions the next time 🙂
Hi Cindi, you can show the pictures of your finished toys in our Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/amigurumidollscrochet/
Is there any way I could possibly make the elephant bigger? It looks very cute but I would really like it to be a bit bigger. Thank you.
Hi Jasmine, just use a thicker yarn and bigger hook 🙂
Do you have any photos or videos of attaching the legs/getting the body started? This is my first amigurumi.
Thank you so much for sharing they are gorgeous I’ll absolutely try them
Thank you, Riz!
Hi, can you give some more specific instructions to how to sew the ears together? Thanks 😊
HI, I have everything made and I cant for the life of me figure out how to sew the inner ears to the outer ears. I tired but you can see the color of the yarn and in yours you cant. SO what is your trick? Thank you!!
Hi Caitlynne, just make neat and tight stitches using tapestry needle 🙂 Also, you can divide the yarn into two parts and work with a thinner thread.
Thank you so so much for this clear, ready to follow and comprehensive pattern of the cutest elephant ever! I made her for my best friend and dressed her as a ballerina, using the hippo pattern for the skirt… I absolutely adore her and next one will be the cow. You are a star! ❤
Thank you so much! 🌷💖
Thank you ” a milion” for this pattern. I made it and I will make more for the childrens from our town orphanage. A BIG hug and ALL the love from us to you.
Thank you so much, Ramona, for kind and pleasant words! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you!!! 🌷💕
Hello! I’ll be making a cat by combining this pattern with fox pattern’s ears and snout. All your patterns are lovely and I love the universal shape for the sake of creating new animals!
Could you tell me how to make 2dc in one stitch in the flower pattern? I’m not sure in which stitch should I put my hook after I chain 2. In the one I’ve made as the last one, below 2 chains or the next one, first from the last round?
Thank you!
Easy and clear instructions, the pictures were a great help.
Lovely elephent.. The result was similar to the one shown up… I made for my 7 years daughter cause she kept her prayers.
Was just wondering how to sew the ears together?
esta bellísimo. Voy a hacerlo gracias por compartirlo
I noticed several questions about sewing the ears together. You can crochet the inner ear to the outer when you do the last row of the outer ear. It eliminates the need to sew them. Great pattern. Thanks for sharing.
How do you make the white flower center so perfectly round? I have tried it twice, but because of the force of the petals the center gets all weird shaped.
So cool
Great Works!!
Thank you for sharing your pattern my granddaughter love it. God bless you
Thank you, Aida! 😍🌷
Gracias otra vez, me encantan!!!
Hola!
Thank you very very much!! 🙏🤗
Hey!

Hello. It is so fun and cute. Thank you so much❤🌸
This is such a neat pattern! Any suggestions on how to add a little tail for the elephant?
Thank you, Alex 🙂 You can make a tail in the same way like Cuddle Me Cow’s tail was made https://amigurumi.today/crochet-cuddle-me-cow-amigurumi-pattern/
Thanks so much.
I made the bear for my grandchild. It is soooo nice!
Best wishes
Grandma
I have bought a few of your patterns and some will not download fully. So that I cant print them. I need paper copies as I will not have internet
How do you connect the legs and the body together? I dont quite get it
Make the second leg in the same way, but don’t fasten off. Continue working on the body from the inner thigh of the second leg. Make 2 ch and join with the first leg with sl st.
thank you for these patterns, i have a few questions for you and i would like to know if i could talk to you about them. I love your patterns and there super cute. I think your an amazing person for the work you take to put the patterns together and make them complete
Los patrones más geniales!! Me encanta hacerlos, quedan hermosos! Muchísimas gracias por compartimos! Saludos desde Argentina 😘
This pattern is so easy and i love the over all look of the elephant.
Thank you,😘
how do I get this to print off ?
Online version of this pattern is free, but if you want to print it, you have to buy PDF version.
Hi I have just finished the wee grey elephant with flowers on her head. My query is why the pattern for the flowers didnt give instructions for the white center.
I love your cuddle me series!
If I wanted to crochet from head to body without sewing (like with the Tiny series you have), how would you do it?
Thank you so much!
Your patterns are such a blessing❤ and so well written! Thank you so much for sharing your gift! I can think up patterns but I don’t have the patients to write them out… Kudos!!❤❤❤
I am not on FB or Instagram but wanted to share that I just finished the little cuddle Me elephant. It’s a gift for a little boy and wanted to know if anyone has suggestions on what to put on his head besides flowers. Thank you.
Val
A hat would be easy to do or goggles.
Hi, i made a ‘ baby elephant’ toy few years ago and I would like to make another similar one but can’t find the pattern on the site anymore. Any chance i can purchase that pattern? Thank you snd congratulations for the great patterns you are creating!

I wanted to make the little elephant and I wanted to crochet from head to body without sewing (like the tiny series you have) how would you suggest I do it? Should I alter the tiny series patterns to fit the size I want? Love your patterns!
