Materials:

  • YarnArt Behonia (100% cotton, 170m/ 50g). You need three colours for eyes (white, black and blue or green) and six more colours for the butterfly itself. All colours are up to you!
  • Simple plastic rattle of 35 mm diameter. If you don’t have such a big one, use the smaller one and put it into the tail.
  • Stuffing
  • Two 8-10 mm wooden beads for antenna (put them inside). If you don’t have them just stuff the details firmly.
  • Sewing needle
  • 1.75-2.0 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors

Start crocheting with a head.

When you have 6 stitches left, cut the yarn and take the yarn out of the last stitch. Use the hook to weave this end through the stitches and draw all 6 stitches in a small circle. Fasten off and hide the end inside.
