This wonderfully crocheted Alpine Cow is all about having a good time and making everyone happy! It can’t solve all of your problems, do your chores, or make your homework disappear but it can make all of those things a lot more fun than they would be without a cheerful companion by your side. To crochet the Alpine Cow you need:
- 4 ply semi-cotton yarn Yarnart Jeans (160 m / 50 g) in white, black, light pink and light gray colors
- 2 mm crochet hook
- 8 mm safety eyes or button eyes
- Pink embroidery floss for nostrils
- Satin ribbon and a small bell
- Fiberfill for stuffing
- Scissors and sewing needle
Skill level: easy
The approximate size of finished crochet cow is 16 cm (6.3″) when sitting.

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one st)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch
(..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
[..] = total number of stitches
Horns (make 2):
Crochet with light gray yarn.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2-6: sc in all 6 st [6]
Finish with sl st. Fasten off leaving a tail for sewing. Stuff with fiberfill.
