Hi Sweta, insert the eyes between 9 and 11 rounds. The space between the eyes is 5-6 stitches.
Hi Marjolijne, sorry for late reply. Insert the eyes between 9 and 11 rounds. The space between the eyes is 5-6 stitches.
Thanks a lot!
I love this cutie and I tried to make it, but I have some issues with round 11. If I skip 10 stitches and continue as said, it looks kind of strange. Is there any possibility to get it shown in images? I nearly go crazy at this point.
Hi Piwon, after crocheting Rnd 11 you’ll get two holes. These are the place for attaching the ears.
Ok, thank you! I will try again 😊
Very lovely!! what is the size finished? I would like to make it for my daughter and put inside a carillon! thanks
The size is about 15-18 cm depending on hook size and yarn thickness.
I love this pattern! It is so adorable. I made one in teal and it came out great! Thank you!
Thanks, glad to know this! ^-^
Love you!Thank you!
Hello! I’ve tried to make this bunny twice now, and I haven’t come farther than the head because already then it looks nothing like the picture :/ I’m fairly new at crocheting but I’ve managed to do other patterns… I don’t know if I’ve misunderstood any of the instructions but I would love to make this cute bunny.
Hi Emma, this pattern is not easy because head, body, legs and ears are crocheted as a single part. In common cases all parts are made separately and then are sewed together with a needle. What rounds are difficult for you? I will try to help you.
Hi Lynn, there are no slip stitches between rounds in the head. Please crochet in continuous rounds (in spiral). You can find instructions how to make eye tightening in this post https://amigurumi.today/amigurumi-bunny-with-long-ears-free-crochet-pattern/
Thank you! Can’t wait bought my buttons today..gifts for my young nieces! Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁
Hi ..love the pattern..easy to follow…dont have any safety eyes so embroided them in ..looks great ..ty x
Can you explain round 10? I am not getting 68 for a count. Is there a decrease I am missing?
Sorry an increase
Hi Bevela, please note that you need to make increase 20 times in the Rnd 10.
hello, how do you do? 😀
Thank you so much for sharing your pretty 😚 projects. I am confuse 😅 in round 10 and 11. Can you please explain it more.😢
Hi Nora 🙂 Which part of the rounds is confusing? After finishing Rnd 11 you will get two holes in the head. Use them to sew ears 🙂
How can I purchase a copy of this pattern? Thank you.

I had the same problem finding the odd. This link no longer works.
*pdf, not ‘odd’ in precious msg, typo
Hello Barbara, we’ll contact your shortly via email to find out the solution. Thanks
Thank you, Amigurumi Today. I highlight the row I am on and also write comments (text) for things such as eye placement or notes for myself for the next time I make the doll or toy, if that helps.
It has been a week, has anyone been able to solve this problem for me?
I need a little turtle to crochet. My Granddaughter loves turtles. The one , which was live, passed away and she was devastated.
Hi Louella, here are the turtle patterns https://amigurumi.today/?s=turtle
Hi! I’m trying to crochet this pattern but I’m a little confused as to whether or not I should slip stitch at the end of each round – the pattern doesn’t say so but I can’t seem to get it to turn out right if I don’t slip stitch. And then if I do, I get a seam right across the bunny’s face! Can you clarify please?
Hi Stephanie, please work in continuous rounds (in spiral), don’t make sl st at the end of each round.
I am totally confused with round 10 ! Help please ! 10 sc then increase then do this 10 times Then sc in 8 stitches and inc and do this 10 times ! How is this possible in only 48 stitches ? I understand it should come to 68 stitches but the instructions are confusing ! Please help ! I think others have also been confused with these directions.
I really want to help you, but I don’t understand what’s confusing. 10 stitches (single crochet) + 10 stitches (inc) + 8 stitches (single crochet) + 10 stitches (inc) + 10 stitches (single crochet) = 48 stitches you need to do so. The total number after increasing = 68.
The instructions say sc in the next 10 stitches (inc) and repeat 10 times. That is 110 stitches. Then sc in the next 8 stitches (inc.) repeat 10 times. That is 88 additional stitches. then10 more sc. I understand you need to have 68 stitches and I made that happen but I and others who have asked about this row find the instructions as written either incorrect or at least confusing. Your explanation works to create 68 stitches but the instructions are not the same as what you wrote. Thank you for writing instructions that clarify row 10.
Hi Sandra, the spaces which you should repeat are separated with brackets. Also, please pay attention to commas used in the pattern.
Hi Sandra,
Think of it as 10 sc = 10 stitches, + 10 inc = 20 stitches that’s 30.
Plus, 8 sc = 8 stitches, + 10 inc = 20 stitches, that brings it to 58.
Plus 10 sc = 10 stitches, which makes it a total of 68.
At least that’s how I’m interpreting it.
Your explanation made a lot of sense! Now I understand but it’s too late. My bunny’s head is now suffering from a terrible disease that made it way too big. Poor bunny! ^__^
Don’t fret, I read it the exact same way! I’m new to amigurumi and patterns in general but I’ve made 4 or 5 so far. I wasn’t seeing the commas until I saw this post so thanks for asking!
I’m not sure what you mean by crochet the ears to the circles on the head, what round do the ears get attached too?
After Rnd 11 you get 2 holes to crochet the ears.
Ah should have finished the head before wondering! Working out quite well thank you so much
Thanks for posting this bunny pattern. I really enjoyed it. My bunny came out really cute!
Thank you, Cindi! I’m very happy to know this 💖
Your bunny is adorable! I am doing the100dayproject challenge with #100DaysOf10MinuteCrochet. I crochet free patterns together with my audience. These patterns are the type that everyone has pinned to their pinterest, but doesn’t seem to have the time to make. So for 100 days we crochet these for 10 minutes a day. Your pattern seems suitable to do in a few sessions and also suiting my level of crochet.
Can I do this pattern on my challenge? Of course I will link to your page in every session that is uploaded. And for the introduction the information will also be said out loud in the video. If you are okay with this I will ask the audience if they would like to crochet your pattern 🙂
Hi Natascha, sorry, this is not allowed. Hope for understanding.
Help! I am on Round 11 … when you say skip 10 stitches, do I pull the pieces together to form a little “pucker” (i.e. Hole) or is it supposed to stay a relatively flatter piece after these stitches are skipped? I am confused as to how the stitches are skipped.
Hi Becky 🙂 Don’t pull these stitches and don’t make anything with them, just skip them (leave uncrocheted). Continue crocheting in the following stitches as described in the pattern.
Thank you for the reply! Just to clarify, so I am going to pull the loop on my hook all the way over those 10 skipped stitches to do my sc, thus leaving a line of uncrocheted yarn over those skipped stitches?
Yes, you should get a line of uncrocheted stitches 🙂
Thank you for sharing this pattern. I am confused about round 10. If I calculate it right, you end up with 210 sc rather than 68. Can you help with this? Thank you!
I see this question was answered above.
What weight yarn did you use for this size bunny?
It’s DK yarn 🙂
i love this bunny but round 10 is still confusing is it 10 sc then inc 10 times then 8 sc then inc 8 times? i have made a lot of different toys this one has me stumped
Hi Mary, Rnd 10: 10 sc, 10 increases, 8 sc, 10 increases, 10 sc [68]
Please have a look at this picture https://amigurumi.today/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bunny-with-hat.jpg It will help you a lot 🙂
thank you so much for sharing this adorable little guy…I am making him for children who are forced to sleep in a shelter in hopes to keep them from crying. <3
It’s so kind of you!!! ❤💕❤💕❤💕
Thank you for pattern! <3 <3 <3
Crochet with pleasure! 🙂
I don’t understand row 11, how do i skip 10 stiches? I’m a beginner, you need to explain more or post photo how it looks.
Hi Sabina, this picture will help you a lot https://amigurumi.today/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Bunny-with-hat.jpg
I love this pattern!!!!!! I have made 3 bunnies to give as presents I am now on one for me finally. How do I upload pics to share with my fellow crocheting people????
Hi Katie 🙂 You can share your pics in our FB group https://www.facebook.com/groups/amigurumidollscrochet/
are the holes on the head for ears?
Yes 🙂
I’m sorry, but I don’t understand the arms when you say fold in half. Could you be a little more explicit?
The hat, when you say pull off the top, what do you mean?
Pull to close the hole.
Eure kostenlose Anleitungen sind alle sehr toll und verständlich geschrieben, aber wenn ich sie runterladen möchte , geht es nur gegen Bezahlung 🤔🤔🤔
Hi,
Have you tried making the bunny in using another yarn than for a 3mm hook? I’d like to make it a maxi bunny and was wondering if the pattern would still work in a bigger size.
Thank you!
Yes, it works 🙂
What a fun little project! I made the little bunny with the hat and scarf..
Hi there
I live in the UK so use UK terminology – does this pattern use US terms please?
US crochet terms
Thank you for the pattern. A friend of my mom asked for one for her grandchild and she loves it very much.
Thank you!
Muito obg pelos pdf são lindos irei aos poucos fazer todos 🙏😘❤️
Can you teach me how to do the ears? Every time I do them, they turn round and hollow on the inside, not flat.
Thank you
Hi Clide 🙂 Just flatten them with your hands.
I’m working on this pattern now and I was wondering if you have any pictures to demonstrate how you sew the eye indents. Thanks for the pattern!
You can find video tutorial here >> https://youtu.be/wdXoIxlx_A8
Hi, love this, so cute. I am also confused about the eye indents. I watched the video and this makes perfect sense with the eyes she then sews on, but this features safety eyes which will need to go on before stuffing the head or you won’t get the washers on the back of them. Please help?! Many thanks. X x x
Please don’t place the eye caps too close to crochet fabric.
I don’t understand what this means.
Can you give more detailed instructions on the hat? Not sure how it’s joined together to form a hat to fit my bunny’s head. Do you have pics of how it looks from the back? Thanks
